About Storyture

Storyture is an art piece to explore the world through story.

The work is composed of three layers: Bakuh, LuciƩrnagas, and Terra. Each layer is wrapped in a fictional world that expresses nonfictional concepts. The most distinguishing part of each world is its scale. For Bakuh, LuciƩrnagas, and Terra, the base unit for length are the micrometer, the meter, and the zettameter, respectively.

With each story, I've included my research notes. All stories are exploratory, and their assumptions (ie. zero is infinite, time + mass derive from temperature, cells are conscious...) should be taken with a grain of salt. One day, I hope that a research paper can become a musical, an artwork can become a research tool, and we explore fields of knowledge through amusement parks.

About Me

My name is Pablo. I was downloaded in New York, developed in Mexico City, and updated in Seoul, Berlin, Hyderabad, London, Taipei, and Atlanta. I'm currently running in San Francisco.

I'm a software engineer in practice and a filmmaker in theory. I was wiser when I was younger and once rode a bicycle across America. Then I crashed, hit my head on the pavement, and, well, let's say this is what became of it.

I studied at Minerva University, a school that gave me everything I needed to start on this project. Through my education and the friends around me, I molded the perspective I bring into Bakuh.

I believe every person can do science, science can taste like art, and that knowledge exists in the unlikeliest of places.
